‘green space & play-space V’s car spaces ’
where is the space in the city for the people; the residents of the city. how much green space do they have and how much play space is given to the children living in the city.
examining at the area of our parks and play space in the city verses the area given over to parking private/public in the city. 12.73 ha parking in limerick city and just 0.231 ha for play space. that equates to 16.5 football pitches of parking and just a 1/3 of football pitch of playgrounds/play spaces parks area in the city centre total 8.31 ha or 11 football pitches with parking getting 16.5 football pitches
